Left for dead on a planet scorched by the sun, zombie finds himself up against an alien race of predators. A new type of mercenary, the other captain and forward Riddicks's emergency beacon activated, alerts the two ships.

The infamous Riddick is left for dead in drought planet that seems lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he's faced. The only way out is for Riddick an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries quickly descend to the planet looking for their generosity to activate. The first ship to come bring a new breed of Merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is the captain of a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal.
