London lawyer Arthur Kipps yet to mourn his beloved wife Stella death of his son, Joseph, before delivery to four years. His employer to give him a last chance to keep his work, and he is assigned to travel to a remote village Gifford Cryphin Eel Marsh House to consider the documents belonged to the recently deceased Mrs. Drablow.
