A bounty hunting scam includes two men in a difficult alliance against a third in a race to find a fortune in gold buried in a remote cemetery.

Blondie (The Good) is a professional gunman people trying to earn a few dollars dollars. Angel Eyes (evil) is a killer who always commit to a task and see it through, as long as it is paid to do. And Tuco (The Ugly) is a wanted outlaw trying to take care of your skin. Tuco and Blondie share a partnership together making money off Tuco bounty, but when Blondie off the partnership, Tuco tries to hunt down Blondie. When Blondie and Tuco go through a carriage loaded with dead bodies, they soon learn the only survivor (Bill Carson) that he and a few other men have buried a stash of gold in a cemetery. Unfortunately Carson dies and Tuco only found out the name of the cemetery, while Blondie discovered the name on the grave. Now the two must keep each other straight to gold.
